About Me
Ucluelet became my home in my early 20s when I arrived from the big city of Toronto and, like so many people have done, I fell in love with the area’s natural beauty and the quaintness of our community. I have worked in a variety of jobs over my 40 plus years including commercial fishing - yes, even three years on a fishing boat - and later in several Federal & Provincial government administration positions & also several years at CIBC. In the time that I have enjoyed living here, I’ve never regretted my decision to relocate. My husband John and I raised our two children here and although their circumstances have them living elsewhere, like many of the friends they had in school they often wish they could return to live in Ucluelet to raise their children. In 1995, Judy Gray approached me to work with her as she had recently started her career in real estate. Judy and I worked closely together as a team for 23 exciting years. In 2006, I obtained my real estate license and for all these years working in real estate, the thing I’ve enjoyed the most is meeting new people and helping families find their first home, their forever home or their dream vacation home. As a bonus, many of these clients have now become dear friends. On June 15th, 2018, the Real Estate rules in BC changed significantly and as a result we made the decision to make some changes in the office and to the Judy Gray Team to better serve the public. This change resulted in my leaving the Team and becoming an independent Realtor. I am still with RE/MAX Mid-Island Realty and am enjoying this next phase of my career. I look forward to providing you with great service whether you are looking to list your home or purchase a vacant lot, your first home or a vacation get-away to enjoy all that Ucluelet and our beautiful Pacific Rim has to offer.
