Shawn Jacula

About Me

Shawn is a Vermilionite through and through. After spending his childhood days living on his parents grain farm he decided to spread his wings and attend the Arizona State University after graduating from J.R. Robson High School in 2003. He acquired a love of flying and this has taken him on quite the adventure as he obtained his multi-engine commercial pilots license. When the laws changed for foreign pilots in the USA, Shawn took this as an opportunity to make a career change.

He moved back to Canada and obtained his real estate license as well as an Appraisal and Assessment Diploma from Lakeland College in 2005. He was first licensed with Mac’s Realty then two years later he joined the RE/MAX of Lloydminster office. In 2010 he opened his own office, RE/MAX Prairie Realty, in Vermilion. This made him one of the youngest sole proprietors in the RE/MAX system worldwide.

In 2012 Shawn was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. He has also been awarded both the Spirit of Vermilion Award and the Spirit of West Award (Western Canada) for premiere community citizenship. He has also been presented with the Employer of the Year Award from the Vermilion and District Chamber of Commerce.

He resides on a farm with his wife Bethany just north of Vermilion and is active on the family farm. When Shawn isn't busy working on real estate transactions or participating in community events you will probably find him out on an adventure with friends.

Through all of his work, the most proud accomplishment is operating a Miracle Office. This means a portion of each and every commission is donated to the Children’s Miracle Network which directly benefits the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
